Helen Esberg

The combination of tension and release of tension, movement versus permanence is at the core of my work.

Though I work in several mediums, weaving runs through much of what I do.

In order to attain harmony, serenity, and calm, I have excluded color and use shades of grey, shimmery silver, the drama of black, and the tranquility of ecru.
